Cariad Jump

Step one

Tell me your idea

Get in touch with a rough idea, a favourite story, a place, a phrase in Welsh or English. I'll reply with next steps and pricing.

Step two

I sketch a few directions

You'll see two or three rough sketches before any final work begins, so you can steer the piece before it's finished.

Step three

Receive your artwork

Your finished piece arrives as a high-resolution digital file, and, if you'd like a print, posted to your door, ready to frame.

Illustration from a Cardiff studio

I'm Cariad, an illustrator working in pencil, watercolour and paper collage, trained at Cardiff Met. Most days I'm at this desk, drawing Welsh folktales, family scenes, and the odd stray cat.

Stories, drawn by hand

Each piece starts with pencil, then watercolour and paper collage — often inspired by Welsh folktales, family stories, or a place that means something to you.

Workshops that grow confidence

I run storytelling and illustration workshops for families across Cardiff.
